Water wells strike primary and secondary schools

Schoemansdal is located at the end of the valley, and the water pressure is often so low that barely any water comes out of the tap. It is hot, and there is a lack of drinking water. Moreover, the schools would like to grow their own vegetables as a supplement to the school menu, and the greenery between the classrooms provides cooling. A water well with tanks and pipes should solve the problem. YEBO seeks collaboration with the Aqua for All foundation. Their project Walking for Water for primary school students raises money for water projects. YEBO board members visit two primary schools in Doetinchem and tell the students about the schools in Schoemansdal. They participate and go walking for water. In 2007, the water wells were dug, and the joint project was successfully completed. We were able to provide water to two schools. To this day, the systems work flawlessly.
